Bear Creek Labradors is owned and operated by Dr. Kelly Hepworth, his wife, Sarah and their daughter Emily. The kennel is located on the East edge of Craig in picturesque Northwest Colorado.

Raising, training and hunting Labradors is a major part of our lives and has always been a lifelong endeavor. In addition to our labs, Kelly owns and operates a Veterinary practice, located next to the kennel. Each fall Kelly hunts waterfowl and upland birds in several states. During the spring and summer, Emily trains labs for youth contests in obedience and showmanship.

Our labs are derived from the finest pedigree lines available. They are carefully selected for temperament, conformation and intelligence. We keep our breeding stock free from hereditary problems. Each lab at Bear Creek has certified hips, elbows and eyes. Our puppies are sold with a 26 month hip and eye guarantee.

Our puppies are highly socialized so that they will be ready for placement with their new owners. All puppies have their dewclaws removed, are wormed and received their first shot. Our puppies have grown up to become wonderful family companions, bird and hunt test competitors, gun dogs, obedience winners and K9 narcotic dogs. You can purchase your Bear Creek puppy with confidence.

Bear Creek Labradors breeds only high quality proven females to the best males available. Thereby producing litters of excellence, that are suitable as gun dogs, family companions and field trial/hunting test prospects. Our females must prove themselves worthy of breeding in the following categories:
